This workshop is designed for members of the Agriculture sector community who use NOAA's remote sensing data in the agriculture cycle, during extreme weather events, agriculture and animal management. There will be workshop opportunities for end-users in the fields of oceans and transportation in the coming months.
The purpose of this workshop is to gather feedback on NOAA's environmental satellite data products through structured discussion. These User Needs will be used to inform the remote sensing capabilities of NOAA's next generation of environmental satellites, the GEO-XO program. Participants should join the workshop prepared to contribute to a facilitated discussion.
Please contact Vanessa Escobar, Lead Scientist for GEO-XO User Engagement at vanessa.escobar@noaa.gov.
This workshop is designed for members of the oceans community who use NOAA's remote sensing data in managing ocean life (e.g., aquaculture, fisheries), observing water quality (e.g., particulate and nutrient load), physical ocean properties (e.g., the biogeochemical cycle, currents), and planning and applications (e.g., sea level rise, coastal flooding).
The purpose of this workshop is to gather feedback on NOAA's environmental satellite data products through structured discussion designed to elicit user needs. These user needs will be used to inform the remote sensing capabilities of NOAA's next generation of environmental satellites, the GEO-XO program. Participants should join the workshop prepared to contribute to a facilitated discussion.
